Getting ready to launch a new Flash game (#3 of Flaxe's studio casual Flash web-based games)

It is really amazing. After developing only two real casual games, my name is all over the net. and I can be really proud of the buzz "Nova Tetris" made.

Flaxe tetris casual game developed
Flaxe's studio first game - shooting ducks, was a success. Really! We've launched it only 2 days after the planned due date, and the audience reacted nicely to it's gameplay. We were aiming for a smooth game with traditional rules. After uploading our first game to Xpogames new social gaming platform, one of my colleagues said:" Hey Flaxe, what about Tetris? Tetris is the real hardcore thing to do".

3 weeks later we got our second game - 'Nova Tetris' (an up-side-down game, truly amazing) up to Xpogames.com as we were told new sites might promote our game, rather then the old sites such as NewGrounds/Kongregate (where we've opened parallel profile pages) cause the game might be swallowed into the infinity sea of everyday games, uploaded there in the frequency I think of "the girl next door" (Jenna I think was her name...Jameson was the last name or something like this).

So the game hitted the top lists of stubmleupon, digg and others, became a real buzz and we got hundreds of offers, corporation, suggestions, sponsoring proposals etc. We working on a new amazing game, and just before its launch, we're going to upload Shooting & Tetris to NewG and KongR to check if the deal is clear as it seems to be right now.

Flaxe #2 Casual game: Up Dide Down Flash Tetris

Flash Tetris
Since we've started our sponsoring request journey it has come to our knowledge that there is a real need in new casual games.

Therefor, we've made en effort and developed a cool 'tettris' game (flipped up-side-down actually), and we're now looking for exclusive/non-exclusive sponsoring offers.

That's it! We're about to sponsor our first Flash game!

Congratulation Flaxe studio, the first game - Shooting Ducks is on the right way. Starting last week, we've emailed about 30 sponsors, mainly casual Flash games sponsoring companies and private groups.

About 9 offers are being now calculated, tested and we're very excited about the prices we got, the kind way people treats us after getting a real professional game and maaaan, we just can't help working on our new and even better game - "UpSideDown Tettris" - a cool title we'll release within few weeks.

Let the games begin....

Flaxe studio first casual Flash game title: "Shooting Ducks", (not) another shooter game

Shooting duck girl
A shooter game is one of the subgenre of traditional action games. This specific subgener is considered to be wide one, due to the fact most of the action games these days are based on the basic shooter game. The weapon is usually a gun, you normally shoot enemies in different shapes (Al Qaeda troops, Ducks, empty cans, zombies etc.).

In order to make one of my best starting games, I've read, asked and investigated all about shooter games, since the early years of the Commodore 64 and the first ATARI consuls.
What I have seen will be reflected in my first casual game made in Flash technology - Shooting Ducks. It'll be released in a week or so, so....stay tuned!

Cheers!

Casual games company branding: Choosing the Flaxe Logo

Flxe logo

Since the early stages of the official Marathon for my own developed Flash games started, I got complemented for the name.

"People can connect with that kind of a name", "The ambiguous pronouncing is amazing teaser" and more. Now, it's time to choose a great logo for my own casual games studio. Help needed.

You may not be familiar with me and my work, and as you look at my new blog you might think - Well, he has to improve his graphical skills.

The truth is that I'm very skilled but somehow can't do my own work, and there for looking for the easiest most convenient way to solve designs issues.

So...do you think this should be my Flaxe WebGames Entertain logo?

Getting started: My wish list for my developing career

i might draw attention with this beautiful girl

As a flash game developer who decided to drop (almost) all business activities, and start his own online casual Flash games production studio, I have several goal and achievements, I must get before life gets me:

1. Becoming a master of Action script. Action script is what Flash is all about - a powerful yet simple syntax programing language, which enables movements, and algorithms as the simple yet addicting gaming industry needs. A master is not the best and has no very thick glass, a master is the one knows what he knows and when should he use others experience solve difficult programming issues and implementing dreams into his games.

2. Becoming a master of the online marketing business .I really work hard for this one. Marketing is the word my friends and my mouth speaks "Marketish". I'm a native Marketer starting....now! My goals are simple: I want my games to be on top of the top magazines cover, at the top of the top lists in gaming portals and as a part of the already installed applications/games in as many PDA's as possible (and operating systems as on Android, IPhone, Simbyan etc.).

3. Becoming the friend, the boss and the colleague, of as many Flash game developers as I can. I'm a social person and I need to work with, for and on top of developing teams.
